Rich history found during Indian Mounds hike

What a day for a hike!

Children from both Rutherford County units joined for a great day of hiking, nature exploration and history when they visited nearby Indian mounds near the community of Lascassas. Their hosts for the day were two Middle Tennessee State University history professors, Martha H. Foster and Becky Maynard.
